The expected hiring range for this position is:

$15.00-$30.00.

About the Role:

Fermilab's Neutrino Division has a strong and exciting research program with major commitments to a diverse range of current and future neutrino experiments including DUNE, NOvA, MicroBooNE, SBN (SBND and ICARUS detectors). Neutrino Division seeks an undergraduate or recent graduate student to conduct their primary research in comparing existing neutrino cross section measurements with neutrino event Generators and Machine learning Neutrino nucleus cross sections.

The position is for a period of up to six months.

Qualifications and Essential Job Functions:

  • Bachelor of Science in Physics
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Creative and independent problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to work collaboratively on a large and international team
  • Abide by all environment, safety, and health regulations.

Please note that the described work arrangement is subject to change based on business needs and is not guaranteed to be final.

  • Onsite: This is an onsite role, and the candidate must be able to work from our Batavia office.
