Responsibilities
The Clinical Educator for Critical Care & Inpatient Nursing will be responsible and accountable for the planning, organizing, and evaluation of orientation for new employees and ongoing education for all employees of the Inpatient DEPARTMENTS: Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, Stepdown and Intensive Care. Assists with planning, organization, and coordination of all educational activities within the department. Coordinates and teaches the critical care course three times per year. Provides input for hiring, evaluating, and termination process of employees. Involved in policy and procedure development, compliance with OSHA/TJC/AOA/DOH regulations, compliance with hospital rules and regulations, and implements the Performance Improvement process. The Clinical Educator for Inpatient Staff is accountable to the Staff Development Director. Qualifications
Alan B. Miller Medical Center opening in Spring 2026! A neighborhood hospital with medical center excellence! The Alan B. Miller Medical Center will feature 150 private patient rooms, a medical office building and a helistop. Upon completion of the initial phase of the project, the hospital campus will include 365,000 square feet of hospital and medical office space.
