Salary/Grade: EXS/10

Target hiring range for this position will be between be Salary range is as be $87,899-$95,000 per year. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Job Summary:

Reporting to a senior administrative position, provides leadership in reviewing & recommending management policies & procedures designed to enhance research and/or clinical operations. Ensures the effective, compliant, & efficient implementation and management of all operations, finance, reporting & research functions in support of the business area's mission & in coordination with central offices such as HR, Budget, Facilities, IT, & Provost.

EE uses judgment & an extensive amount of experience to adapt an advanced knowledge of skills, methods, practices, policies & procedures & a moderate degree of innovation, analysis, & reasoning to plan & prioritize work that is primarily project oriented & involves some extremely difficult problems &/or decisions. EE interprets policy.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's in business, accounting or a related field

5 or more years experience in administrative or supervisory capacity

Prior exposure to a combination of budgets, finance, grant administration, facilities &/or human resources or 7 years administrative experience.

Skilled financial analyst able to review, edit and create complex Excel spreadsheets for review with senior management

Excellent oral and written communication

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in businesss or healthcare administration/public health

Experience in an academic medical center department
