AECO: The Trimble AECO segment provides digital construction solutions that increase precision and productivity for Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Operations.

What Makes This Role Great:

In this role, you will be at the heart of the Trimble Connect platform, directly influencing the digital transformation of the AECO industry. You won't just be writing code; you'll be engineering the back-end infrastructure for microservices that power 3D visualization and Augmented Reality, shaping a more productive and environmentally conscious future for global construction workflows.

Key Exciting Responsibilities
  • Architect Cloud Solutions: Create, implement, and test sophisticated software designs that meet complex requirements for our global collaboration platform.

  • Master Modern Tech Stacks: Leverage AWS, Azure, and microservices to build clean, maintainable, and high-performance code.

  • Drive Technical Excellence: Spearhead technical design reviews and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet evolving business needs.

  • Own the Lifecycle: Manage the full software engineering process, from initial requirements and planning to automated deployment and performance assessment.

  • Innovate & Problem Solve: Utilize advanced log metrics and debugging tools to identify anomalies and optimize system reliability.

Essential Skills & Experience
  • Must-have Tech Stack: Java, AWS, and Python

  • Proven Expertise: Bachelors degree or higher and 3+ years of relevant back-end software development experience.

  • Language Proficiency: Strong fundamentals in Java and Python development.

  • Cloud Native: Demonstrable experience with AWS (S3, EC2, Containers) and Serverless computing.

  • Modern Workflows: Solid understanding of REST API development, Git, and CI/CD best practices.

  • Collaborative Mindset: Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate effectively across product and design teams.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.

Bonus Points For:
  • Experience with testing and mocking frameworks or building custom scripts.

  • Familiarity with 3D visualization, AR, or geospatial technologies.

  • Background in SAAS/PAAS environments.

This compensation range is based on a full time schedule.
