Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Revenue Cycle Analyst.

In this role, the successful candidate as the Analyst, Access Operations, will serve as a key partner to the Senior Director of Patient Access in managing strategic initiatives across Registration, Insurance Clearance, and Financial Counseling. This role will drive operational alignment, oversee process improvement projects, and coordinate execution of departmental priorities to ensure consistency, compliance, and efficiency across all campuses.
The Analyst will produce executive-level materials, analyze data from existing dashboards, support budget and staffing initiatives, draft standard operating procedures (SOPs), document workflows, and identify opportunities for workflow integration and process optimization across the division.

Job Responsibilities:

Project and Operational Management

  • Manage and track key initiatives across all Access sub-departments, ensuring timely execution and accountability.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, status reports, and deliverable trackers.
  • Partner with leaders and analysts to analyze operational metrics, identify performance trends, and prepare summary insights.

Executive Support and Deliverables

  • Draft executive-level communications, presentations, and status updates for leadership meetings and performance reviews.
  • Prepare visually polished slide decks summarizing operational progress, outcomes, and key recommendations.
  • Create standardized reporting templates, dashboards, and data summaries to drive data-driven decisions.

Process Improvement and Standardization

  • Document and refine workflows; develop SOPs and quick-reference guides.
  • Identify cross-departmental dependencies, gaps, and opportunities for alignment across Registration, Clearance, and Counseling.
  • Support design and rollout of new processes, technologies, and initiatives (e.g., Epic workflows, FPL table updates, pre-reg initiatives).

Collaboration and Change Management

  • Serve as a liaison between operational leaders, IT, Revenue Cycle, and Finance to ensure cohesive project execution.
  • Coordinate communication and engagement with frontline teams to ensure consistent implementation across sites.
  • Monitor and report progress to executive sponsors; escalate barriers and recommend solutions.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelors Degree required.
2 years of experience required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products required.
Dynamic communication skills (verbal and written) required.
Analytical skills required.

Preferred Qualifications:
Masters degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related discipline.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or Lean Six Sigma training.
Experience within Patient Access, Registration, or Revenue Cycle operations at an academic or multi-hospital system.
Familiarity with Epic workflows, workqueues, and reporting structures.

Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
