We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Network Engineer Intern to join our growing team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in network operations, contribute to real-world projects, and work alongside experienced networking professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in monitoring and maintaining network systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
* Support the configuration and troubleshooting of network components, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
* Collaborate with network or senior engineers to implement network changes and upgrades.
* Participate in network performance analysis and reporting.
* Document and update network designs, policies, and procedures.
* Work on projects related to network automation and optimization.
* Provide technical support and assistance to internal teams regarding network-related issues.

Qualifications:
* Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or a related field.
* Basic understanding of network fundamentals and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
* Familiarity with networking hardware and software is a plus.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
* Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry trends.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Compensation: The pay range for this position is $20/hr - $21/hr. Our compensation ranges are determined by the experience and education required, and level of responsibility. The range posted for this role represents a range that Interstates, in good faith, believes it is willing to pay at the time of this posting. The pay is determined by job related skills, training, education, and experience.
