As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor entry points and patrol the premises at a dynamic manufacturing location, helping to deter security-related incidents. You will remain highly visible, interact with personnel and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service while utilizing technology such as computers or tablets. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the facility, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and vendors to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Assist with the implementation of site-specific policies and procedures related to access control and security-related matters.
• Provide customer service to individuals entering or exiting the location, addressing questions and offering directions as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Document and report any irregularities, security-related incidents, or unusual activities observed during shifts.
• Collaborate with site personnel and/or emergency responders in the event of an emergency or critical incident.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
