A Day In The Life
The Demand & Supply Consultant plays a vital role in optimizing Gulf States Toyota's (GST) vehicle flow from factory to retail by aligning allocation, ordering, distribution, incentive operations, and accessory planning with dynamic customer and market demand. The consultant will have primary job duties within one respective discipline but expected to support all areas within the Demand & Supply team. This role combines data analytics, operational execution, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure GST's vehicle supply and accessory strategy support, dealer performance, sales velocity, and profitability objectives. The Consultant will: 1. Execute and monitor the vehicle allocation, ordering, and accessory planning processes using analytical and forecasting tools. 2. Deliver actionable insights and reporting to improve inventory efficiency, turn rates, and overall market performance. 3. Manage and support special vehicle and accessory programs (VIP, evaluation units, ILA, exceptions, Cybersale, etc.). 4. Serve as a key support resource to GST dealers and field staff for allocation, system navigation, incentives, and accessory inquiries. 5. Administer incentive programs and ILA accessory operations in coordination with TMNA and internal partners to ensure program accuracy, value, and transparency. 6. Drive process improvement through data integrity, system management, and collaboration across departments. Through effective analysis and execution, the Consultant directly supports GST's ability to deliver superior dealer experiences, maximize profitability, and achieve strategic business goals.

As a Consultant, D & S you will:

  • Vehicle Allocation & Ordering * Execute the monthly vehicle allocation process in alignment with GST forecasts, Dealer Profiles, and sales objectives. * Measure allocation effectiveness and track performance metrics related to inventory velocity, days' supply, and product mix. * Support the creation, validation, and maintenance of vehicle ordering files within TMNA TPV and TOMS systems. * Analyze order data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. * Ensure allocation and ordering data integrity, timeliness, and compliance with GST and TMNA standards.
  • ILA Accessory Strategy & Portfolio Management * Identify TMNA/GST In-Line Accessory (ILA) opportunities across all product lines that drive accessory sales, dealer value, and profitability while optimizing Vehicle Processing Center (VPC) throughput. * Understand and apply knowledge of volume forecasts, factory ordering strategies, and model lifecycles to assess accessory potential. * Collaborate with Business Planning and Vehicle Supply Managers to validate production and forecast accuracy. * Manage ILA portfolio and lifecycle, including: o Development and maintenance of Offering Sheets for ILA/LIO/DIO. o Maintenance of pricing, applicability, and penetration data. o Conflict recognition, weight verification, and compliance review. o Tracking and reporting of ILA performance by model and series. * Monitor model year changes, manage accessory carry-over/discontinuation, and plan for smooth package transitions and sell-downs. * Coordinate with TMNA Corporate Accessory Department to leverage shared programs and remain informed of SPAD initiatives.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting * Gather, analyze, and interpret supply, demand, and accessory performance data to identify actionable insights. * Develop Power BI dashboards, Excel reports, and leadership presentations that inform business decisions. * Integrate competitive research, incentive effectiveness, and pricing insights into planning cycles. * Partner with key stakeholders to recommend process enhancements and drive automation. * Dealer & Field Team Support * Serve as a trusted resource for GST dealers and field associates by providing training and support on allocation systems, ILA offerings, and incentive processes. * Deliver field communications, guides, and virtual/in-person training on Dealer Pipeline Management Systems (DPMS) and accessory programs. * Address dealer inquiries promptly and ensure issue resolution aligns with GST standards for service excellence. * Offer support leading up to and during each Sales Base during and after business hours. * Support GST's dealer incentive operations, ensuring programs are accurate, transparent, and aligned with strategic sales objectives.
  • Incentive Operations * Administer TMNA/GST new vehicle incentive programs, contests, and Dealer Travel initiatives. * Reconcile monthly incentive data, manage dealer signoffs, and ensure accurate Customer Cash disbursements. * Support dealer's iPlus challenges and inquiries. * Analyze incentive performance and identify operational trends to improve future program execution. * Coordinate closely with TMNA, TFS, Sales Operations, and Marketing to maintain incentive leadership and best practices.
  • Vehicle Programs Administration * Coordinate employee, executive, marketing, and referral vehicle purchase programs for affiliated companies and eligible family members. * Oversee the sale, delivery, maintenance, and disposal of company-owned and program vehicles in compliance with regulations and safety standards. * Maintain accurate records of vehicle transactions, reporting packages, and key performance indicators (KPIs). * Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance sales operations, efficiency, and customer experience. * Coordinate activities and communication with affiliated companies, associates, and dealer partners. * Oversee daily operations of Enterprise Couriers and administer the toll program, including equipment, billing, and payroll deductions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration * Partner with Sales, Distribution, VPC, USAL, Field Operations, Retail Training, and Marketing to ensure seamless supply-demand and accessory execution. * Contribute to model launch planning, lifecycle management, and end-of-production transitions. * Participate in cross-functional projects to improve systems, analytics, and forecasting capabilities.
  • Professional Growth & Development * Engage in ongoing training and mentorship to enhance expertise in analytics, supply chain systems, and accessory/incentive management. * Support continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge sharing across the Demand & Supply Management team. * Responsibly receive, transmit, and handle consumer and customer data per applicable policies and procedures. * Review and adhere to all data privacy practices and guidelines. * Provide backup support to other Demand & Supply functions as needed. * Perform special projects assigned, supporting GST's strategic and operational objectives.
  • Vehicle Programs Administration * Coordinate employee, executive, marketing, and referral vehicle purchase programs for affiliated companies and eligible family members. * Oversee the sale, delivery, maintenance, and disposal of company-owned and program vehicles in compliance with regulations and safety standards. * Maintain accurate records of vehicle transactions, reporting packages, and key performance indicators (KPIs). * Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance sales operations, efficiency, and customer experience. * Coordinate activities and communication with affiliated companies, associates, and dealer partners. * Oversee daily operations of Enterprise Couriers and administer the toll program, including equipment, billing, and payroll deductions.

What We Need From You

  • Bachelor's Degree Business, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or a related discipline, plus four (4) years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated analytical capability with experience in forecasting, inventory management, or accessory planning preferred.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, SAP, and knowledge of TMNA systems (TPV, TOMS, DPMS).
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
