We are seeking a skilled, part-time Payer Dispute Resolution Coordinator to join our team. This role plays a crucial part in coordinating and performing claim work related to payer disputes, appeals, and legal challenges to denied claims. The ideal candidate possesses excellent written communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:



  • Insurance & Reimbursement Support

    • Analyze insurance payer policies, dispute procedures, and state insurance regulations.
    • Utilize Electronic Health Records (EHR), Electronic Medical Records (EMR), and insurer portals effectively.
    • Work in the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) system to research patient eligibility, claim submissions, denials and payments, and appeals.
    • Use Power BI dashboards to analyze denial and payment patterns and generate claim lists for research, appeals & disputes.


  • Scheduling & Compliance

    • Assist with deadlines, court hearings, and case-related scheduling.
    • Ensure strict adherence to insurance regulations and insurance appeal procedures.
    • Identify and assist with implementation of solutions for claim denials and reimbursement disputes.


  • Legal Research & Documentation

    • Conduct research on payer disputes, insurance policies, and regulatory requirements.
    • Retrieve and organize relevant documents from internal sources.
    • Assist with drafting letters, including appeals and dispute-related legal filings.
    • Prepare correspondence directed at patients, third parties, and legal entities.
    • Maintain well-organized case files to ensure efficient access to key materials.


  • Process Optimization & Team Collaboration

    • Contribute to broader team efforts by assisting with various administrative and legal tasks.
    • Analyze findings and compile comprehensive reports to support resolution strategies.
    • Work independently while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and sound judgment.




Qualifications:



  • Education:

    • 1-2 years of recent college education required.
    • High school diploma


  • Experience:

    • 2 years of work experience with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, perform administrative tasks accurately, and contribute to the team results.

This is the anticipated base salary range in the United States. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include, but are not limited to, the type and length of experience within the job, the type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives and restricted stock units. CareDx is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
