DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this seasonal position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all welding activities adhere to established quality and safety protocols. Collaboration with your team will be essential for the successful execution of projects. Your duties will encompass a range of welding operations, including welding, brazing, and cutting both ferrous and non-ferrous metals. You will be expected to work autonomously, applying your skilled trade expertise to repair various components, perform structural welding on bridge elements, and troubleshoot issues related to equipment frames, hitches, and plows. Additionally, you will be tasked with the precise fabrication of repair parts and body components for a wide array of applications. Success in this role will depend on your comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience with various welding processes and techniques. Interested in learning more? - Seasonal, full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Travel, overtime and shift work required. Work hours subject to change based on seasonal requirements and operational needs.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Three years of experience in the operation and use of welding equipment, materials, and related shop equipment to repair, maintain, or fabricate parts, equipment, or structures; or
- Completion of a three-year, high school Vo-Tech training program in welding and eighteen months of experience in the operation and use of welding equipment, materials, and related shop equipment to repair, maintain, or fabricate parts, equipment, or structures; or
- Completion of an approved welder apprentice program; or
- A welding certificate D1.1 from the American Welding Society; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Special Requirements:
- This position requires possession of an active Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
