Location: North Hospital 4050 W. Memorial Rd. OKC, OK 73120

Shift: Full time, Days, Monday -Friday no weekends no holidays


Responsibilities

The Nuclear Prep Technologist/Medical Assistant is under the supervision of the Director of Imaging Services, the Nuclear Prep Tech will provide support for the department with clinic patient care. Depending on the clinic type, this may include assisting with patient flow, taking patient history and vitals, assisting with diagnostic testing, maintenance of medical supplies, interrogation of pacemakers and other duties as assigned. Perform general patient care. Schedule appointments for patients as required. Follow up on patient phone calls and concerns and document appropriately. Review patients charts and records for completeness. Document patient interaction thoroughly and accurately. Utilize computer/Cerner applications and stay current with system updates. Provide clerical support as needed.


Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Licensure/Certification: BLS certification required within 18 months of hire.

Experience: Six (6) months to one (1) year of continuous experience in a clinic setting preferred.
