Security Officer - Logistics Access Desk

As a Security Officer - Logistics Access Desk in Santa Teresa, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol distribution and logistics locations to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence supports a secure environment while you interact with visitors, check credentials, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Control access to the location by verifying credentials and/or identification of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, contractors, and employees with access-related inquiries and directions.
• Enforce site-specific policies and procedures related to access control in a logistics and distribution environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to observe for security-related issues and/or hazards.
• Document and report any irregularities, security-related incidents, or unusual circumstances as observed during shifts.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives to address access control concerns and improve procedures as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
