As a Armed Security Officer - Warehouse Access Control in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment for staff and visitors. This is an armed and driving position where you will remain visible, respond to incidents, and provide outstanding customer service, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate de-escalation techniques.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor for suspicious activity and report any concerns or incidents according to established protocols.
• Assist with access control and verify the credentials of individuals entering restricted areas within the location.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency responders as directed during incidents.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, disturbances, and/or other unwanted activity within the retail environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license as required by jurisdiction.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
