What to Expect

The ideal candidate will have extensive training experience in industrial or manufacturing environments with experience in training reporting systems, partnership with external vendors and businesses, and adult learning methodologies. They will also have a strong desire to help build and maintain a world class training program in a dynamic industry-defining organization. This specialist will have a passion for helping others and achieving excellence through problem-solving actions.


What You'll Do
  • Manage employee facing internal training SharePoint and Confluence sites along with auditing schedules and verifying available training space
  • Perform data collection and needs analysis related to training programs (attendance tracking, ROI/SOI, Training Requests, feedback sentiments)
  • Escalate and perform Quality Assurance tests for Training System enhancements, support with training launch plans and automated tools
  • Create and send monthly newsletters, collaborate with all branches of training to compile information to release
  • Support internal audits for training needs to ensure team compliance and standardization, document and update internal training standards as well as best practices
  • Lead meetings for small-scale training projectstied to overall training programs, receive, respond, and delegate training request form submissions and act as the liaison of communication with customers, instructors, external vendors, and outreach with external partners
  • Act as a versatility chart certification system administrator, develop and sustain versatility charts for various business units along with managing equipment, equipment inventory, and training records

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree or two (2) years of equivalent related experience in practical training
  • Knowledge of methods, techniques, resources, and materials used in delivering training as well as strong analytical problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of and commitment to Tesla's teaching, mission, and philosophy
  • Strong ability to work and communicate effectively with team and peers within various parts of the manufacturing organization
  • Strong computer experience, expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint or equivalent platforms
  • Strong ability to work in cross-functional groups from diverse technical and experienced backgrounds
  • Be innovative, flexible, positiveand perform other duties as assigned to support learning
