As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Officer in a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. You will remain visible throughout your shift, assist visitors and staff, and maintain open communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the utility location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any unusual conditions.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or site representatives.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and daily activities in accordance with company and client protocols.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required for the location.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and team members while upholding Allied Universal standards at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
