Registered Nurse

Behavioral Health

Peachford Hospital is Atlanta and North Georgia's most comprehensive psychiatric and behavioral health facility providing care to patients and their families struggling with mental health and addictive disease. Our hospital treats patients aged 5 to 95 with all levels of care including crisis stabilization and adult, adolescent/child and geriatric psych. We also offer a wide range of outpatient services including partial hospitalization and ECT.

Peachford is looking for Nursing team members who share the things that matter most. People who are inspired by challenging and meaningful work for the good of every patient. People who are compassionate and serve with a purpose. People who aspire to excellence every day. People who are always ready to apply themselves to be their best for the patient's who need it most.

If you are a Registered Nurse who has:

  • an understanding of mental illness or addictive disease and its effects on people
  • the ability to interact with patients of all cognitive levels with histories of trauma
  • patience and understanding
  • the desire and ability to keep our patients safe...

...then Peachford is the place for you to consider for your nursing career.

With a variety of shifts and schedules available, and eight different nursing units to choose from, we are certain we can find a patient population for you to work with.

We offer a fantastic comprehensive benefits package including 23 days off that roll over every year, a 401k with company match, a stock purchase plan and multiple medical and dental options to choose from. And our fringe benefit offerings are incredible, too.

Qualifications

While we will definitely train you to be the best, there are a few minimum requirements for this position such as being a graduate of an accredited nursing program.

While we encourage any interested RN to apply, we do have a preference for those with at least one year of nursing experience. Previous psych experience is helpful but not required.

Of course, a State of Georgia or eCompact Multi-State Nursing License is required.

Send us your resume and let's have a conversation on how you could be a part of our 50+ year tradition of caring.
