Information Management Intern

Oceaneering is a global provider of engineered services and products, primarily to the offshore energy industry. We develop products and services for use throughout the lifecycle of an offshore oilfield, from drilling to decommissioning. We operate the world's premier fleet of work class ROVs. LOCATION:

Role provides the opportunity to work in hybrid environment, working both virtually and in office when required.

This is a paid Summer Internship Program (early June to early August).

As an intern with our Information Management (Quality) group, you'll gain experience by participating in tasks including but not limited to:

• Assist with handling information and records according to internal standards and processes.
• Support efforts to centralize access to information through the company's Intranet to improve efficiency.
• Help Information Coordinators manage the lifecycle of information (creation, storage, retrieval, archival).
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and explore automation opportunities as technology evolves.

Your responsibilities will align with your experience and educational background to provide real-world application of classroom knowledge. You'll work closely with a mentor to achieve your developmental goals and meet performance expectations.

REQUIRED:

• 3rd or 4th year undergraduate student at an accredited University, pursuing a degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Library and Information Science.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
• No relocation or housing assistance is being offered.

DESIRED:

• Experience in configuration and data management of engineering systems.
• Experience with Web-based data application and data management.
• Demonstrates knowledge of the principles, practices, and procedures of document control.
• Experience in design, development, and maintaining SharePoint sites, lists, document libraries, workflows, and custom applications using Power Automate and PowerApps.

This position is Hybrid - Remote and will require commuting to a designated office. Hybrid work schedules are determined by the hiring manager based on business need.
