Job Summary The IT Network Administrator will be a key contributor to the Global IT organization, responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and ongoing optimization of enterprise network infrastructure and services. This role supports both operational and project-based work, with responsibilities driven by business needs. As an IT Network Administrator, you will collaborate across global teams to support global network infrastructure in modernizing legacy network infrastructure, enhance automation, and ensure lifecycle and patching hygiene all while aligning with ITIL-based processes and standards. The ideal candidate is proactive and passionate about leveraging technology to improve system availability, operational reliability, and security. They will play a critical role in maintaining a stable and resilient global infrastructure that supports ZOLL business operations and mission to improve patient outcomes worldwide. Essential Functions
- Support configuration and deployment of switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points, and other network devices, following established standards and templates.
- Monitor and analyze IT infrastructure performance and configuration data to identify potential issues and address them.
- Update and maintain technical documentation and diagrams to support operational procedures.
- Respond to, and triage network alerts, incidents, and requests in a timely manner, escalating when required.
- Assist with network upgrades and patching, including firmware updates, configuration backups, and device replacements.
- Utilize established ITIL-based processes and corporate ticketing systems to ensure consistent and efficient resolution of IT issues and requests.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, internal IT teams, and external vendors, to implement and maintain IT infrastructure solutions.
- Support disaster recovery planning and execution.
- Support automation efforts by documenting repetitive network tasks, testing scripts created by engineering teams, and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
- Stay informed about emerging networking technologies and participate in ongoing training to build knowledge and technical skills.
- Provide after-hours support, including participating in an on-call rotation, as required.
- Work as a point of escalation for helpdesk/end user support.
- Collaborate with colleagues in team-based focus groups to address specific initiatives and contribute to shared goals.
- Contribute to high-performing teams through collaboration, communication, and knowledge sharing with colleagues across the organization.
- Provide hands-on support for network hardware installation, cabling, and maintenance within assigned facilities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required/Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in CIS, MIS, IT, or a related field or equivalent experience required
- 2+ years prior industry experience (Enterprise preferred)
- Performing software and hardware upgrades
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, routing, switching, VPNs, and firewalls).
- Possessing a current certification relevant to the support technology field is preferred (e.g., Cisco and/or Palo Alto).
- Experience in datacenter operations, including onsite hands-on support for server hardware, network equipment, and cabling (preferred).
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to exchange ideas and information and effectively relate to others to accomplish work responsibilities.
- Experience with monitoring systems.
- Possess the ability to achieve quality results, be change-oriented, foster innovation, and be a continuous learner.
Travel Requirements
- Ability to travel as needed (up to 5%).

The annual salary for this position is: $80,000.00 to $95,000.00
Factors which may affect starting salary include geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
