Job Purpose

The Director, Inside Sales is a strategic and operational leader responsible for building, managing, and scaling the inside sales organization within Blue Earth Diagnostics. This role oversees the development and execution of inside sales strategies to drive revenue growth, expand market reach, and support field sales and marketing initiatives. The Director will lead a team focused on non-face-to-face engagement with healthcare professionals, promoting company products, and delivering high-impact customer experiences. The inside sales team will also have the responsibility of engaging with and assisting the direct sales team with gaining access to customers and maximize SFDC utilization.

Main Responsibilities, Activities, Duties and Tasks

  • Strategic Leadership
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive inside sales strategy aligned with overall commercial goals.
  • Identify new opportunities for market expansion and account penetration through inside sales channels.
  • Set performance metrics, KPIs, and sales targets across the inside sales team.
  • Team Management & Development
  • Recruit, train, and manage inside sales managers and representatives.
  • Foster a high-performance culture through coaching, mentoring, and performance reviews.
  • Provide ongoing training in product knowledge, sales techniques, compliance, and CRM usage.
  • Operational Oversight
  • Oversee daily operations of the inside sales team, ensuring call volume, email outreach, and virtual engagement targets are met.
  • Collaborate with Sales Operations to ensure accurate reporting, territory alignment, and sales forecasting.
  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Compliance, and Field Sales to support campaigns and brand messaging.
  • Customer & Market Focus
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the customer landscape, including healthcare provider needs, clinical workflows, and competitive dynamics.
  • Analyze sales data and customer feedback to refine messaging and tactics.
  • Support product launches and go-to-market strategies through coordinated virtual outreach.
  • Other duties as determined by business needs

Education/Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in business, life sciences, or healthcare preferred.
  • Professional Experience, Knowledge, & Technical Skills
  • 7+ years of pharmaceutical or healthcare sales experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or director-level role.
  • Proven success building or scaling inside sales or similar functions within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or diagnostics industry.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare provider engagement, pharmaceutical marketing, and product life cycles.
  • Exceptional leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), sales enablement platforms, and business intelligence tools.

Annual Salary: $150,000.00-$170,000.00
