Director of Nursing In-Training (DONIT)

Our Director of Nursing in Training (DONIT) program is a unique opportunity to gain on-the-job training and mentorship to acquire the skills and knowledge to lead a clinical team and manage clinical operations in a skilled nursing facility.

Requirements to Apply:

• Must have an unencumbered State of South Dakota Registered Nurse (R.N.) license, C.P.R. Certification; or obtaining licensure in the state of SD;
• Must commit to occasional travel within the region for onsite clinical experiences;
• Must be able to accept a DON/ADON position in the region upon completion of the program if/when a position becomes available.

Preferred Experience:

As a minimum:

• One (1) year experience as a Registered Nurse (RN), preferably in a long-term care/skilled nursing facility;
• One (1) year experience in nursing leadership role.
