The Industrial Disability Specialist serves as the primary liaison between employees, healthcare providers, third-party administrators, and internal departments to ensure seamless coordination of work-related disability services. This role supports employees through the disability process by facilitating timely communication, ensuring regulatory and policy compliance, and delivering a high level of service grounded in accuracy, professionalism, and care. The Industrial Disability Specialist plays a key role in promoting safe return-to-work practices and supporting the overall well-being of the workforce. Department Overview The Workers' Compensation Department oversees the organization's self-insured workers' compensation program, managing claims from initial reporting through final resolution. The department serves as the central coordinator for all workers' compensation-related services, including industrial return-to-work efforts, industrial leave processing, industrial disability services, and the WorkStrong program. Through these functions, the department supports employee well-being, ensures regulatory compliance, and promotes a safe and healthy workplace. POSITION INFORMATION
