PAY TRANSPARENCY/COMPENSATION



Muskogee, OK

Hourly Rate: $25.21/hr

Health and Welfare: $4.90/hr (cash in lieu once full-time)

Retirement (401k): $1.70/hr (once full-time)

Training Rate: $16.20/hr



RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Protect personnel and property with professionalism and vigilance
  • Interact with the public and visitors in a courteous, tactful manner
  • Screen and process visitors efficiently, including x-ray operations
  • Identify, report, delay, or detain individuals violating rules or posing threats
  • Conduct internal and external foot patrols
  • Perform traffic control duties as required
  • Monitor, detect, and respond to alarms and emergency situations
  • Secure entrances and exits during incidents
  • Maintain control of keys and access systems
  • Communicate effectively via radio or company-issued devices
  • Follow all post orders, policies, and procedures
  • Observe, document, and report all incidents accurately
  • Provide first aid and CPR when required
  • Wear required protective equipment, including body armor
  • Maintain training, firearms qualifications, and physical readiness
  • Support safety initiatives and quality improvement programs
  • Walk, stand, sit, and remain on post for up to 12-hour shifts
  • Perform occasional running, lifting, climbing stairs, and emergency response activities
  • Work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.)
  • Lift and move heavy objects when necessary
  • Maintain alertness and responsiveness throughout shifts
  • Travel within the state may be required
  • Maintain regular, in-person attendance
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS



  • U.S. Citizen, or Lawful Permanent Resident with qualifying honorable military service
  • Minimum age of 21
  • Possess a valid Social Security Card
  • Minimum of two (2) years of armed security experience; OR
  • Minimum of one (1) year of full-duty law enforcement experience; OR
  • Minimum of two (2) years of honorable service in any branch of the U.S. Armed Forces
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution (or equivalent documented on DD214)
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English, including report writing
  • Ability to pass drug screening, physical and fitness exams, and background investigation
  • Ability to successfully complete required training, including the Protective Security Officer Training course
  • Strong situational awareness, professionalism, and reliability
