Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY:

The TX-OK Market Pre-services/Insurance Verification Manager will manage and direct activities/responsibilities for Pre-Services and Insurance Verification staff. Will foster a culture of accountability, emphasizing people and performance management, coaching and development, and employee engagement. Will analyze KPI results and review results with staff. Will recommend additional education/training if needed. Will communicates with physicians' offices and other hospital departments to enhance cooperation to accomplish the hospital's objectives in regard to the a full cycle of pre-services for patients to TX-OK Market/facilities. Some travel may be required between the TX & OK facilities.


Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a healthcare setting (Patient Access/Patient Accounting) with proven ability to de-escalate situations and provide resolution to customer issues.
Minimun of 5 years of management experience required.
Strong leadership skills and practice including role clarity, clear communication, honesty, and accountability.
4. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.

5. Mathematical ability required to prepare reports.

6. Knowledge of various computer systems including all Microsoft Office systems, Outlook, etc.

7. Must demonstrate commitment and adherence to STHS's Compliance Program and Code of Conduct through compliance with all policies and procedures, the Code of Conduct, attendance at required training and immediately reporting suspected compliance issue(s) to the Compliance Officer.

EDUCATION / LICENSURE:

1. High school diploma or GED required.

2. Associate's or Bachelor's Degree required.

4. Bachelor's degree in business or related field is preferred.

5. Minimum 5 years of Hospital Business Office.

6. Minimum 5 years of management experience.

7. Experience in healthcare provider finance operations or similar service environments required.
