What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service to all individuals on site by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and monitor for unusual conditions.
• Maintain awareness of the surroundings and report any security-related concerns or incidents according to site procedures.
• Assist patients, visitors, and staff with directions and general inquiries as needed.
• Support emergency response activities as directed by site leadership or Allied Universal management.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• Vaccines are required for this hospital site.
• Work may involve duties in the hospital morgue.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• May be required to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
