The Sr Replenishment Manager Walmart will own the Customer Replenishment relationship for assigned Spectrum Brands Division & work closely with the Walmart Sales teams as well as Forecasting, Supply Chain/Replenishment & internal operations to deliver Sales & Operational objectives. Role is responsible for maintaining excellent instock and inventory flow/control, maximizing sales achievement, minimizing customer compliance fines, aligning SPB with WM operational initiatives and requirements, while maximizing efficiencies within the supply chain. This position will work closely with the Walmart Replenishment & Sales teams looking for opportunities to maximize POS while maintaining agreed upon service and inventory levels.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Primary focus on driving sales and profits through innovative replenishment approaches, industry knowledge and technical expertise to ensure customer and SPB KPI's goals are met

Create and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external customers that interface with replenishment

Key point of contact with WM for all replenishment issues, strategies, and initiatives

Oversee the company's inventory and service level/in-stock position to ensure smooth flow of merchandise to the WM.com channels

Manage in-stock levels, customer orders & inventory levels (for size, accuracy, feasibility)

Manage unproductive inventory, identify trends and develop recommendations to correct issues

Analyze inventory levels and optimize return on investment of retail inventory

Insure seasonal/promotional execution to achieve Sales Objectives & customer expectations

Provide input to retail programs on sku selection, shipping patterns, promotion planning

Voice of Replenishment in the Collaborative Forecasting Process

Analyze internal and external data to support a high level shipment forecast accuracy

Evaluate, analyze, and report sales patterns and trends to Walmart Sales team and Supply Chain on a weekly basis

Evaluate & influence order size, patterns, correct-sku selections, to maximize OTIF performance & minimize fines


Education and Experience Profile

Bachelor's degree

5+ Years' experience in a progressive supply chain/replenishment role/operational role

Experience in the online/Omni channel preferred

SAP knowledge, inventory management and/or production experience is preferred

Required Skills

  • Strong data management experience preferred
  • Excellent working knowledge of the "supply chain" process
  • Ability to make independent decisions, excellence with critical thinking and judgment
  • Understanding of "Wal-Mart Retail Link" system & applications
  • Collaborate effectively with customers both inside and outside the organization
  • Must possess excellent communication, organizational and PC skills
  • SAP system knowledge preferred
