Case Cart Tech - Part Time - Varied - La Jolla

This is a part-time, benefit eligible position for varied shifts located at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla.

The Case Cart Tech provides patient care support services under the guidance of the Registered Nurse and within their scope of practice. Assists and collaborates with staff to promote optimal patient care. Picks surgical cases completely ensuring that all necessary supplies, instrumentation and equipment are ready for the surgical procedures. Follows consistent case picking practices, inventory management practices, utilizing established processes, visual management and standard work. Provides and maintains a clean, safe and attractive environment for patients.

Required Experience/Specialized Skills:

• Minimum of one year recent experience in: operating room, sterile processing or in order and managing medical supplies.
• Must be able to speak, read, and follow directions in English.
  
  Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
• Graduate of a Surgical Technologist Accredited Program.
• Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider.
