- Wesley Long Hospital (Full time 7p-7a)
- Drawbridge MedCenter (PRN 12hr Days & Nights)

Responsibilities:
- Supports patients with daily living tasks, including meals, personal care, and progressive mobility in order to support the recovery and plan of care.
- Assesses patients' quality of life related to nutrition, hydration, and elimination in order to distribute resources and anticipate patient needs.
- Admits, transfers, and discharges patients in order to move them to the appropriate locations in line with the plan of care.
- Assists with clinical procedures, including monitoring blood glucose, recording vital signs, obtaining EKG's, applying restraints, and attending to elimination needs to provide comfortable care for patients.
- Helps to maintain unit inventories of supplies and medical equipment in order to ensure a clean and safe environment in adherence to the National Patient Safety Goals.
- Checks that fall-risk patients have the appropriate arm bands, socks, and signage to ensure physical safety. Helps document all clinical procedures, patient interactions, and medication use to maintain a detailed patient history.
- Responds promptly to delegation from registered nurse staff and shares patient observations to ensure efficient collaboration.
- Performs other duties as reasonably required or assigned.
Qualifications
- Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Required: Nurse Aide Certification required by State of North Carolina DHHR
- BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider.
