Description

The Account Director - New Business Development is a revenue-driving role responsible for identifying, pursuing, and converting new business opportunities while building long-term client relationships. This individual acts as a strategic partner to prospects, translating business challenges into compelling solutions and driving sustainable growth for the organization.

Key Responsibilities

New Business & Growth



  • Execute new business development strategy aligned with company growth goals
  • Identify, prospect, and qualify new clients through outbound efforts, networking, referrals, and inbound leads
  • Lead the full sales cycle from initial outreach through proposal development, negotiation, and close
  • Develop compelling pitches, proposals, and presentations tailored to client needs
  • Maintain a strong pipeline and consistently meet or exceed revenue targets


Client Strategy & Relationship Building



  • Serve as a trusted advisor to prospective clients, deeply understanding their business objectives and challenges
  • Build strong executive-level relationships with key decision-makers
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proposed solutions are strategic, feasible, and differentiated
  • Transition new clients smoothly into account management or delivery teams post-close


Market & Commercial Leadership



  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities
  • Contribute to go-to-market strategy, positioning, and messaging
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
  • Provide feedback to leadership on market needs, pricing, and service offerings


Qualifications & Experience



  • 7+ years of experience in new business development, sales, or account leadership (specifically in Print, POP/POS, Brand Environments and Branded Merchandise)
  • Proven track record of closing complex, high-value deals
  • Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills
  • Experience engaging senior-level stakeholders and C-suite executives
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling abilities
  • Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

This is a remote position in the US. We are open to candidates in various states, with the exception of those residing in the following: AK, DC, ME, NH, NM, OK, HI, MS, MT, NV, NE, ND, SD, VT, WY, WV

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $86,643 - $100,000 USD annually. Ultimately, in determining pay, we will consider the successful candidate's location, experience, and other job-related factors.

Group benefits currently include a selection of health care plans with prescription drug coverage, dental plan, vision plan, basic and supplemental life insurance, a flexible spending account for medical and dependent care expenses or a health savings account based on plan selection, short/long term disability and 401(k) Savings Plan.

Education
Bachelors of Business Administration (preferred)
Bachelors of Marketing (preferred)
Experience
Experience engaging senior-level stakeholders and C-suite executives (required)
