Job Summary Job Description GENERAL DESCRIPTION Assist in collecting information and documenting processes to improve the efficiency andproductivity of manufacturing operations. * Documentation of detailed sequential work instruction and development of method sheets. * Preparation of diagrams, graphs and charts to illustrate routing, work flow, floor layouts andprocedure of material handling and use of machine. * Studying the steps and time taken by the workers and identifying efficiency of eachrole. * Observe the workers while using the equipment to know whether it is maintained and also if itworks appropriately. * Use time devices (such as stop watch or video camera) to determine Labor Times and MachineStandard Times. * Assessing data and draft reports and graphs to indicate or validate deviations from existingoperations and standards. WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS * Strong communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills * Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills * Proficiency with Microsoft office * Exceptional technical skills, analytical ability, judgment, and strong operationalfocus * Excellent organization and time management skills * Either knowledge of 2D drawing in AutoCAD or willingness to learn to make 2D drawings inAutoCAD. * Minimum of 0 - 2 years' experience in manufacturing EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS * Associate Degree in Engineering or related field; applicable experience may be considered inlieu of degree Additional Job Details Support & Production - S1 Organizational Impact Works to deliver on day-to-day objectives with minor impact on achievement results for the team Delivers job responsibilities following a defined standard output or set of procedures Work consists of tasks that are routine, or well defined, with specific instructions to achieve standardized solutions Work is closely supervised Communication & Influence Communicates with contacts typically within immediate job area on matters that involve obtaining or providing information requiring little explanation or interpretation Innovation & Complexity Responsible for checking data and information or troubleshooting when minor changes may be required based on review Daily challenges faced are routine and solutions clearly prescribed Follows a well-established and familiar set of activities and/or processes to derive a solution Leadership & Talent Management N/A - Jobs at this level are focused on self-development Knowledge & Experience Requires limited job knowledge of systems and procedures.
