  • Estimated hourly base pay: Level 1: $20.67(minimum) - $26.92(midpoint) - $33.17(maximum). Level 2: $24.52(minimum) - $31.73(midpoint) - $39.42(maximum). Plus, shift differential and overtime

Are you ready to make your mark? If you're aMachine Repair Technician - Weekend Day Shift,we have an exciting opportunity for you. Machine Repair Tech is responsible for the maintenance andrepair of hydraulic, mechanical & instrumentation systems, including machine centers, by applying knowledge of mechanical technologies and principles.

This is a Weekend Day Shift: Friday, Saturday and Sunday - 12 hours shift, starting 5am.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Perform Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and execute preventative maintenance on machinery following standard operating procedures.
  • Diagnose Basic Issues: Identify and troubleshoot straightforward machine malfunctions using established guidelines and diagnostic tools.
  • Execute Repairs: Carry out necessary repairs on equipment under close supervision, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Document Maintenance Activities: Accurately record all maintenance and repair tasks in maintenance logs and reports.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Communicate technical information and work effectively with team members to ensure optimal machine performance.

What We Are Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Driver's license required

Level 1:

  • Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of basic machinery and equipment used in machine repair.
  • Diagnostic Skills: Ability to identify and diagnose simple mechanical issues using standard procedures.
  • Manual Dexterity: Proficient in using hand tools and operating machinery with precision.
  • Safety Compliance: Adheres to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensures repair work meets established quality standards and specifications.
  • Instruction Following: Accurately follows detailed repair instructions and standard operating procedures.
  • Basic Electrical Knowledge: Familiarity with basic electrical components and circuits commonly found in machinery.
  • Time Management: Efficiently manages time to complete routine repair tasks within designated timeframes.
  • Communication Skills: Communicates effectively with team members to relay technical information and updates.
  • Troubleshooting: Performs straightforward troubleshooting tasks to resolve minor machine malfunctions.

Level 2:

  • Mechanical Electrical Troubleshooting: Proficient in diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical and electrical systems in machinery.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Skilled in performing routine maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance and minimize downtime.
  • Technical Documentation: Expertise in maintaining accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment logs.
  • Equipment Calibration: Ability to calibrate machinery to specifications, ensuring precision and functionality.
  • Safety Compliance: Knowledgeable in adhering to safety protocols and regulations during machine repair and maintenance.
  • Diagnostic Software Proficiency: Experienced in using diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve machine issues.
  • Quality Control: Ensures all repairs meet quality standards and contribute to the overall quality of team output.
  • Time Management: Effective in managing workload and prioritizing tasks to complete assignments within deadlines.
  • Communication: Capable of conveying complex technical information clearly within the team.
  • Team Collaboration: Works effectively with team members to achieve common objectives and integrate repair activities seamlessly.
  • CNC familiarity or experience preferred
