Overview

How You Can Make a Difference

We are seeking an exceptional Principal Cyber Architect with deep expertise in Network Security and Architecture, specializing in Palo Alto and Cloudflare technologies. In this strategic leadership role, you will shape our enterprise network security strategy, architecting resilient, threat-informed solutions to safeguard our digital infrastructure against sophisticated cyber threats. Your work will ensure trust and confidence with our members, clients, and partners. Define and execute the network security architecture roadmap, providing visionary thought leadership to protect critical infrastructure. You will partner with cross-functional teams-including Cyber Defense and Network Operations-to align security solutions with business objectives, driving innovation, automation, and operational excellence.

What You'll Be Doing

    Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-wide network security architectures to defend against advanced threats.
  • Shape network security strategy with expertise in Palo Alto firewalls, Cloudflare security services, and cloud-based protection.
  • Define and deliver the network security architecture roadmap, ensuring innovative, automated, and operationally excellent solutions.
  • Collaborate with Cyber Defense and Network Operations teams to align security initiatives with business goals.
  • Architect advanced network segmentation, Zero Trust frameworks, and secure connectivity leveraging Palo Alto and Cloudflare platforms.
  • Conduct threat modeling and security assessments, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending enhancements.
  • Integrate emerging technologies such as SASE, SD-WAN, and cloud-native security controls while ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor and optimize network security operations using data-driven insights to automate threat detection and response across hybrid environments.
What You'll Need to Be Successful
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field; advanced certifications (CISSP, CISM, Palo Alto PCNSE, Cloudflare Certified Specialist) preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in network security architecture, including 5+ years in a principal or lead role.
  • Proven expertise in Palo Alto firewalls, Cloudflare security services, and cloud-based network protection.
  • Strong background in threat-informed defense, security operations, and platform engineering integration.
  • Demonstrated leadership in guiding cross-functional teams and aligning security initiatives with business objectives.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance (GDPR, CCPA, PCI-DSS) and best practices in automation and operational excellence.

Salary Range

$159,000.00 To $210,000.00 / year
