Your Job

We are currently hiring a Market Operations Manager to support the Georgia-Pacific PRO business in Atlanta, GA! This role is part of the Commercial Operations group. This team is unique within the company, focused on developing and growing GP PRO's business with strategic customers via analytics on channels, markets and segments.

This will be an on-site position at the Georgia-Pacific office in downtown Atlanta, GA.

Our Team

This team supports senior leaders by evaluating historical performance and new opportunities using advanced analytics, performing competitive research, and developing recommendations on customer specific pricing/incentives that drive a long-term competitive advantage in the market.

What You Will Do

  • Collaborate on a daily basis across Channel, Market, and Segment business teams
  • Utilize analytic tools to complete analysis and assess customer opportunities relative to the business vision and price strategy
  • Collaborate with cross functional partners including sales, category, customers and business leadership
  • Support annual business plan development process, ensuring plans meet business objectives, are logical and achievable
  • Challenge priorities and identify incremental value creation opportunities

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field of study
  • Experience in an analytical role involving manipulating large data sets and making recommendations
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel
  • Willing and able to work in office at minimum 3 days per week

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience working on multiple tasks in parallel to meet deadlines
  • B2B Sales/Support experience and/or Consumer Products industry knowledge
  • Pricing and/or revenue management experience
  • Experience conducting quantitative analysis using Excel and other visualization tools
