Utility Parts Cleaner

Are you mechanically inclined and detail-oriented? Staffmark is seeking a Utility Parts Cleaner to join a fast-paced manufacturing team that values precision, safety, and quality. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for grinding, cleaning, and preparing industrial rolls to meet exact customer specifications.

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour (based on experience)

Shifts Available:

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
• 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM - 5:00 AM
• Shifts may follow a rotating schedule; availability across multiple shifts is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Operate industrial grinders and overhead cranes safely
• Match roll serial numbers to factory orders and verify job specifications
• Set up grinders using correct blocks, stands, and cables
• Perform multi-stage grinding with various grit belts
• Conduct hardness readings and ensure crown profiles and alignment are correct
• Inspect rolls for contamination and maintain detailed records
• Clean and maintain machines between jobs
• Wrap and stage finished rolls for the next production phase

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of industrial or mechanical experience
• Willingness to learn crane operation and follow load specifications
• Comfortable with physical tasks and tool handling
• Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
• Basic measurement and inventory tracking skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 50 pounds
