Senior Director of Certified Preowned Products, Healthcare

Position Summary
AsaSenior Director of Certified Pre-Owned (CPO), Healthcare Products,at STERIS, youwill be responsible for leading the strategy, operations, and P&L for the Certified Pre-Owned Equipment and Device business within the Healthcare division. You will be responsible for driving execution and delivering top-line revenue and bottom-line results. You will ensure that all elements of our commercialization efforts are aimed at creating value for the Company, are commercially sound, compliant, and fit with the Company's strategy, goals and objectives as well as its vision and values. You will partner with senior leaders within Service, Sales, and Marketing to grow the global Certified Pre-Owned business across our Capital and IMS product portfolios.
Candidates can be based anywhere in the US.Ideally candidates will be based near Birmingham AL, Indianapolis IN, or Mentor OH.
Whatyou will do asSenior Director, CPO, Healthcare Products
- Manage the global Certified Pre-Owned business across our Capital and IMS product portfolios, in accordance with agreed budgets, Quality Management Systems, objectives, and timelines.
- Work closely with the business unit commercial teams, Service, and Operations to work collaboratively with marketing, sharing Customer insights.
- Lead insight generation through coordinated efforts with internal analysts and external research firms to enable data-informed strategic planning. Monitor and incorporate knowledge of the changing US and Worldwide healthcare landscapes.
- Develop annual sales plan in support of organizational strategy and objectives considering competitive landscape and market trends. Meet and exceed top-line sales revenue forecasts and profitability targets. Provide details and accurate sales forecasting.
- Oversee the governance and operational execution of Pre-Owned products and devices in adherence to FDA requirements and internal quality protocols. Drive adherence to commercial compliance protocols.
- Develop and ensure implementation of the CPO Operational, Supply Chain and Sustainability strategy. Drive adoption of lean principles through partnership with the Continuous Improvement team.
- Direct the administration of pricing programs and policies within approved guidelines. Ensure that policies, quotes and special pricing scenarios are strategic and well-documented.
- Collaborate with the business units to develop worldwide sales and marketing strategies for the Certified Pre-Owned business. Create, build, and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in partnership with the BU Marketing teams.
- Collaborate cross functionally with marketing, sales training, business analytics, finance and other critical functions to develop and execute strategic and operational plans. Collaborate with the BU Leaders to establish and administer sales management's quotes and goals.
- Lead the design and implementation of sales incentive plans to drive performance, align behaviors with business objectives, and enhance team engagement.
- Participate directly in professional and industry organizations, in sales activities, key accounts and trade shows. Provide strategic leadership in the development and execution of comprehensive sales strategies across product lines and categories.
- Develop and manage the sales, supply chain, operations, and sustainability infrastructure for Certified Pre-Owned products, aligning process with measurable outcomes and defining KPIs.
- Lead with purpose and integrity, driving team excellence, development, and empowering teams through mentorship and fostering a culture of positivity, transparency, and aligned execution.
- Provide thought leadership on Certified Pre-Owned initiatives through facilitation of high-impact sessions at STERIS Connect and representing Certified Pre-Owned at other business meetings.
- Cultivate and leverage internal and external relationships to drive business growth within a Customer-centric framework.
- Partner internally with business development colleagues to identify, assess, and advance high-impact product innovations and opportunities.
- Drive overall inventory management process in collaboration with Business Leaders.
- Champion the business unit products internally and externally. Ensure Voice of Customer permeates throughout company.
- Enable strategic cohesion across internal teams to elevate the Customer experience and outcomes. Cultivate and steward strategic partnership across internal and external stakeholders.

The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed
- Required:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field
- 15 years of experience within the medical device industry
- 5 years of demonstrated success bringing new products to market
- 5 years of experience with sales execution and process ownership
- 5 years of leadership experience managing people leaders, and proven management skills including the management of people and budgets within a matrixed organization
- Ability to travel overnight up to50%both domestic and international
- Must be able to be compliant with hospital/customer credentialing requirements

- Proven relationship building with own network of key industry and Customer stakeholders
- Demonstrated skill in C-suite relationship building, including experience negotiating with the C-level to close revenue-generating ideas
- Depth and breadth in business acumen across multiple businesses
- Strong understanding of the evolving US and worldwide healthcare marketplace and demonstrated clinical acumen

Pay range for this opportunity is $160,000 - $212,000. This position is incentive plan eligible, at target earnings of $200,000 - $265,000, depending on performance. Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed.
