Marketing Operations Program Specialist This is a 6-month, full-time (40 hours/week), hybrid contract role located in Culver City, CA or Cupertino, CA. Summary
This role supports a Marketing Operations team responsible for enabling large-scale, on-device communications and automated messaging across digital media products and subscription services. The Marketing Operations Program Specialist focuses on improving operational efficiency, system reliability, and execution quality through data analysis, CRM issue identification, and cross-functional collaboration, while also supporting internal training and program operations. The ideal candidate has 5-10 years of experience in analytics, marketing operations, or program operations within large, matrixed organizations. They are experienced with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or similar systems and have a strong foundation in technical problem-solving, data analysis, and reporting. This individual is proficient in SQL, Tableau, Excel, and presentation tools, and is comfortable working with data from multiple sources to identify trends and insights. They thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, demonstrate strong customer service and communication skills, collaborate effectively across teams, and manage multiple priorities independently.
Job Description
- Analyze marketing business processes and CRM platform performance to identify opportunities for optimization and system-scale improvements.
- Partner with marketing, engineering, IT, analytics, and operations teams to improve execution across digital and subscription-based services.
- Develop and implement analysis strategies aligned with organizational goals and translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Deliver regular operational and IT reporting for stakeholders and leadership.
- Create and maintain technical documentation detailing issues, root causes, business impact, and resolutions.
- Manage shared inboxes and delegated calendars supporting internal programs and training operations.
- Coordinate training room usage and track monthly utilization metrics.
- Partner with third-party vendors on catering, room setup, and materials.
- Complete facility and storage requests and maintain supply readiness.
- Provide technical and logistical support for both virtual and in-person sessions.
- Manage class operations and deliver a high-quality experience for session attendees.
- Track and ship materials by partnering with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Support new internal programs and initiatives as they are launched.
- Maintain internal systems used for planning, scheduling, event tracking, calendar updates, and participant management.
Education and Experience
- A Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Marketing, Engineering, Operations, or a related field is required, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience supporting SaaS platforms, subscription-based services, or internal training programs at scale is strongly preferred.
- Exposure to AI or machine learning initiatives is a plus.
Additional Requirements
This opportunity is located in Culver City, CA or Cupertino, CA and requires hybrid work.
The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $59.41 per hour (Culver City) to $63.95 per hour (Cupertino).
