Product Designer - Design Systems (Tokens & Components)

This is a 6-month, full-time (40 hours/week), hybrid contract role located in Cupertino, CA.

• 7+ years of experience in production design, UI design, or design systems
• Passion for web application design with a strong foundation in token-driven UI and system-based thinking
• Proficient in Sketch, with expert-level skills in symbols, shared libraries, and precision layouts
• Familiar with enterprise-level design systems, component governance, and accessibility standards (WCAG)
• Skilled in collaborating with product designers, front-end engineers, and design system partners
• Able to work independently while managing multiple production tracks simultaneously
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, timelines, and stakeholders
• Strong written and verbal communication with exceptional attention to detail
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, execution-heavy environments

This includes consistently applying system components and token architecture, identifying gaps or misalignments within the system, and proposing refinements to maintain UI consistency across new and existing features. You will participate in QA validation, file bugs as needed, and ensure final UI matches specifications down to the last pixel.

You will also execute production work across complex internal web tools such as dashboards, tables, forms, workflows, and multi-state interactive components, while maintaining clean, organized Sketch files using structured libraries and naming conventions.

• Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction, or equivalent practical experience
• Background in UI design, production design, or design systems
• Experience supporting data-heavy or workflow-heavy web applications

This opportunity is located in Cupertino, CA and requires hybrid work

The pay for this W-2 position is $53 per hour
