Job Overview: Data Analytics Specialists are responsible for querying, analyzing, validating, and reporting data. Specialists utilize complex queries and analytics in SQL, Tableau, Power BI, and other languages or platforms to obtain data and develop reports from relational databases, Snowflake, and other non-relational sources. The Data Analytics Specialists learn and evaluate data to determine patterns and trends and then present and explain these findings to both lay and expert stakeholders ad-hoc or in a structured manner such as Tableau or Power BI. They carefully provide accurate and vetted data to multiple business units as well as stakeholders beyond the agency. Key Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications: Requires a bachelor's degree in a data analytics, computer science, or a related discipline (i.e., statistics, applied statistics, mathematics, biostatistics, economics, epidemiology, business administration, public administration, public policy, or other related discipline) OR An associate's degree and 2 years of relevant professional work experience OR A combination of years of relevant college coursework and years of relevant professional work experience totaling 4 years.
