Description

  • Maintain quality standards and specifications of finished product through testing and analysis of results.
  • Ensure that product documentation and testing paperwork are completed properly and clearly.
  • Perform routine physical and chemical testing.
  • Planning and lay up of composite materials.
  • Planning and curing of composite materials.
  • Planning and executing specimen preparation of composite materials.
  • Perform testing for Quality, R&D and/or Technical Service.
  • Program CNC and accurately machine specimens to tolerance.
  • Operate various analytical and mechanical testing equipment.
  • Maintain and perform calibration and preventive maintenance of equipment
  • Perform housekeeping duties and assignments to maintain a clean and safe working environment in all areas of the Lab.
  • Complete and update reports, logs, etc. to ensure that product and standards are within required specifications, and laboratory equipment is operated and maintained properly, with any and all problems clearly communicated to other lab personnel and Supervisors.
  • Follow all safety procedures and all company and department policies and procedures.
  • Assist with team activities, attend monthly safety meetings and any other scheduled meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned.
