As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to support a sense of order, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the logistics and distribution environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify any unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the location to help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Maintain clear and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any security-related observations.
  • Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or site supervisors regarding any incidents or concerns encountered during patrols.
  • Support emergency response activities, including assisting with evacuations or directing individuals as needed according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
