Job Description




As a Security Officer - Armed in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at this prominent aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. This role requires carrying a firearm and driving as part of your daily responsibilities. You will interact with personnel and visitors, delivering exceptional customer service while upholding Allied Universal's values of integrity, teamwork, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including both the business interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor and report any suspicious behavior, security-related breaches, or unusual circumstances encountered during patrols.
  • Interact with employees, visitors, and/or contractors in a courteous manner while verifying credentials or access as required by site protocols.
  • Remain alert to potential threats or risks within an aerospace or defense environment and promptly communicate any concerns to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and security-related activities as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
  • Possess an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Hold a Level III Armed Certification for Texas.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
