As a Security Officer - Armed Utility Patrol in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol utility locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and provide a visible presence. This role requires driving and carrying a firearm while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. You will play an important part in maintaining a secure environment, upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the utility location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible security-related presence.
• Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity, reporting findings according to established protocols.
• Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors, providing assistance or guidance as needed.
• Complete detailed reports on incidents, patrols, and any security-related observations or actions taken during the shift.
• Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and local authorities when required.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military is required.
• You must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
