What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding appropriately to emergency situations if they arise.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment at the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned government facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor the property for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to Allied Universal procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal personnel and on-site contacts to address concerns related to the security-related needs of the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security experience or possess a college degree.
  • Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Possess a college degree.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a corrections officer license.
  • Provide a DD214 with honorable discharge or an associate's degree or 60 college credits or a police academy certificate or a corrections academy certificate.
  • Possess a law enforcement officer license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
