Moog Commercial Aircraft Group is hiring a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager.

As the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, you will be responsible for financial forecasting, reporting, and performing analysis to offer strategic insights to leadership for informed decision making.

As a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, you will:

  • Manage the processes for the consolidated monthly/quarterly forecast, annual budget, and long-range plan.

  • Prepare and compile the Commercial Aircraft Group P&L and Free Cash Flow forecasts.

  • Provide analyses of forecasts compared to actual results and previous forecasts. Monitor variances and assess the process to improve forecast accuracy.

  • Prepare Commercial Aircraft Group monthly reporting package for Moog executive leadership that includes financial statements and operational KPI's.

  • Analyze results and communicate insights for areas of improved financial performance.

  • Report results compared to prior periods, forecasts, and budgets to Commercial Aircraft Group leadership, Moog executive leadership, and the Board of Directors. Reporting to include identifying drivers/trends to communicate historical and future performance.

  • Leverage visualization tools to quickly access data and present meaningful, concise information.

  • Execute process improvement initiatives that drive improved efficiency and effectiveness within the Commercial Aircraft Group and Moog FP&A.

To be considered for this role, here is what's typically required:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance/economics

  • Minimum of five (5) years of related experience, preferably in a manufacturing organization

  • Strong quantitative/analytical skills, as well as strong written and oral communications skills

  • Experience with data visualization applications (i.e., PowerBI), ERP systems (i.e., SAP) and CPM systems (i.e., OneStream)

  • MBA and/or CPA is preferred.

Salary Range Transparency:

Buffalo, NY $110,000.00-$155,000.00 Annually

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
