As a Security Officer - Shopping Center Patrol in Tustin, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail center locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining visible and approachable. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail and mall property, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to observe and report any unusual activity or potential security-related concerns.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members regarding security-related matters and site protocols.
• Document and report incidents, observations, and any maintenance or security-related issues following established procedures.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when required, supporting Allied Universal's commitment to a secure and welcoming environment in retail and mall settings.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
