As a Screener with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances and verifying access, while providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Conduct screening of individuals, vehicles, and/or packages entering the logistics and distribution location to help to deter prohibited items from entering the premises.
• Follow site-specific procedures and protocols related to screening processes and access control.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and contractors with inquiries and directions as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and site-specific guidelines.
• Document and report any irregularities, incidents, or suspicious activity observed during screening and monitoring duties.
• Collaborate with site staff and other Allied Universal personnel to maintain a secure environment within the logistics and distribution location.
• Remain alert and attentive throughout shift to help to deter unauthorized access and/or activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
