We're looking for a Financial Analyst who brings strong Excel skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to "tell the story" behind the data. In this role, you'll partner closely with finance and commercial teams, support business decision-making, and help focus the organization on what matters most. As a Financial Analyst, you'll support U.S. commercial leaders by delivering timely, insightful financial analysis that helps influence decisions, identify opportunities, and drive business performance - all while living the mission and values of Univar. What you'll do Conduct routine analytics across sales channels, products,customersand geography tohelpidentifyrisks/opportunities/actions to increase profitability,speedand win rate for sales team, productmanagement, and BU leadership. Design, standardize and streamline reports using multiple reporting tools including Tableau. Evaluate monthly financial results, providing valuable insights and analysis to commercial leaders and drive improvement actions. Translate data into timely and meaningful management insights through the right metrics and interpretation. Support preparation of weekly, monthly and quarterly forecasts of North America's financial performance for use with internal management as well as external parties. Assist in the development and execution of annual budget. Perform special projects to improve process efficiency and performance. What you'll need Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance,economicsor a comparable Business field, or equivalent professional experience inFP&A. 1-2 years with increased scope and responsibility in progressive finance roles preferred. Prior financial experience in chemicals, distribution and related industries is a plus. Strong Excel skills, including lookups, sumifs and pivots tables. SQL or Tableau experience. OneStream experience is a plus. Strong financial analytics capabilities - able to interpret variances and trends in financial data and identify insights and findings. Critical thinking in review of results and problem solving. Ability to adapt quickly and learn new tasks independently, while managing competing priorities. Highly motivated teammate with positive attitude who embraces change and is a champion for continuous improvement.
