Job Title: Unemployment Claims Specialist Duration: Contract 10+ Months Shift: Mon - Fri \| 8AM - 4:30PM Work Arrangement: Fully Onsite Location: Newark, DE 19702 Pay Rate: $30.62/hr. on W2(without benefits) Job Description: The Information Resource Specialist II position is a critical operational role. This individual will provide support through the review of unemployment claims to help streamline processing while ensuring compliance with state and federal law. Additionally, this role will assist in implementing these operational processes within an upcoming modernized Unemployment Insurance system. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; coursework or training in management or a related field preferred. Significant experience in operational or administrative management. Experience supervising, mentoring, and training staff. Demonstrated ability to improve business processes and workflows. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment. Professionalism, adaptability, and reliability. Preferred Qualifications Advanced training or education in management, operations, or a related discipline. Experience leading process improvement or modernization initiatives. Experience in project management and data analysis to support operational decisions. Strong strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities. Experience fostering team development and collaboration. Knowledge of quality assurance, compliance, or regulatory requirements.
