As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will perform routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related issues, and respond to incidents with clear communication and strong customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. You will support tenants, visitors, and property teams while working in a culture that is agile, reliable, innovative, and built on integrity and teamwork. Why Join Us: What You'll Do: - Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a commercial real estate environment.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas including lobbies, corridors, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points and help manage visitor access by verifying credentials, directing foot traffic, and addressing access concerns in accordance with location-specific procedures.
- Observe and report unusual conditions such as unsecured doors, broken gates, lighting issues, and/or suspicious behavior, and communicate concerns to appropriate contacts for follow up.
- Complete detailed shift activity reports, incident reports, and maintenance observations using required reporting methods.
- Assist with building opening and/or closing procedures when assigned, including checking doors, elevators, stairwells, and common areas for irregularities.
- Support customer and tenant needs with clear communication, professional presence, and de-escalation techniques when addressing disputes and/or disturbances.
- Operate and/or monitor security-related systems as assigned such as CCTV, alarm panels, and access control, and report issues or activations according to post orders.
- Work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions based on the location, including walking and standing for extended periods as required by the post.
Minimum Requirements: - - A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
- - Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
- - Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- - Being able to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
- - Customer service experience is preferred.
- - Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- - Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
