As a Security Officer Building Patrol in Santa Ana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, contractors, drivers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including calls for assistance, disputes, suspicious activity, and medical situations.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or access concerns.
• Monitor gates, doors, and other access points; assist with visitor and vendor check-in, badge issuance when applicable, and directing individuals to the proper contact or location.
• Observe and report unauthorized entry attempts, loitering, and/or property damage; notify site contacts and/or local authorities when required by post orders.
• Complete security-related reports, shift logs, and incident documentation with clear, timely details.
• Support fire, weather, power outage, and other emergency procedures, including notifications, area checks, and assisting with orderly evacuations when directed.
• Communicate with site management, maintenance, and fellow team members using radios, phones, and/or electronic systems; escalate concerns through the chain of command as needed.
• Perform perimeter checks after hours, verify lights and doors, and report hazards such as spills, obstructions, and/or unsecured areas for follow-up.
• Maintain a professional presence and follow Allied Universal and site-specific policies while performing assigned duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• - A Guard Card/license is preferred.
• - Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• - Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• - Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• - Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• - A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
