What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and delivery drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access at entry points by verifying resident credentials, checking guest lists and/or work orders, and following visitor management procedures.
• Issue and collect visitor passes as required, maintain accurate entry logs, and report access concerns to site leadership.
• Monitor vehicle and pedestrian traffic at gates and common-area access points, assisting with directions and helping to reduce congestion during peak periods.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services when appropriate.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, unauthorized access attempts, and policy violations, helping to deter unwanted activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter as directed. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, intercoms, and other security-related systems as assigned, and document notable activity.
• Communicate clearly with residents, property management, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, rule reminders, and service needs.
• Complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoff notes with clear, factual details.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
